Crosslake Fibre, selects BSO Networks as exclusive commercial partner for Low Latency Services on new Lake Ontario route


Paris, London, Toronto July 22, 2019
Crosslake Fibre, builder, owner and operator of strategic fibre systems, are pleased to announce that they have chosen BSO Networks (BSO), award-winning Ethernet network, cloud and hosting provider as its exclusive partner to deliver Crosslake Velocity – a new ultra low latency network service between Toronto & New Jersey for the financial services market.Crosslake Velocity, a unique & historic build across Lake Ontario, cuts off the corner traditional terrestrial networks use around the East of the Lake to deliver significant a saving in latency. Connecting the commercial and financial centres of Canada and the US, Velocity is the only Canadian-US cable system to cross Lake Ontario with the latest submarine and terrestrial technology ensuring the network is optimised and deployed to deliver maximum performance and reliability. The route is currently undergoing testing and will be operational from July 22, 2019 (revision: service live as of November 28, 2019)
