BSO ANNOUNCES NEW POP IN EQUINIX SV2 SILICON VALLEY
New on-net data center connecting Silicon Valley to emerging and established global markets.
As part of our ongoing commitment to connect and serve our customers in the most dynamic, profitable locations in the world, we have recently optimized our West coast data center portfolio to include Equinix SV2 in Silicon Valley as part of our on-net global network.
Located in North San Jose, CA, Equinix’s IBX Silicon Valley data center SV2 serves the largest concentration of high-tech companies and peering hubs in the world with access to important financial and enterprise ecosystems. Top software, IT, engineering, computer, Internet content and microprocessor companies use Equinix’s Silicon Valley colocation facilities to distribute high-availability, high-speed digital services.
BSO’s specialism in connectivity across Asia is bolstered by the new POP, which is a key hub for trans-pacific connectivity from the U.S. to Tokyo, Hong Kong and Sydney. From these locations, paths route across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, serving clients that require high-availability and low-latency in high-growth markets.
The SV2 POP is now on-net for BSO customers, meaning they can benefit from international connectivity services and hosting in the data center within a very short timeframe. The POP adds to our growing portfolio of global data centers, and bolsters our recent developments in the US including a NY metro circuit and Gateway to Mexico via McAllen data center.
